Default Did a burnout. Now left wheel is behaving strangely. Help!

Silly me did a big burnout in my daughters 2002 manual R50 Mini. Immediately afterwards, the left wheel was 'skipping'. Like it was getting stuck briefly while turning, then freeing up again. If I turn a corner slowly, it feels like the left wheel is binding up and it almost stalls the engine. I understand mechanics fairly well, and the only thing I can think of is a problem in the differential. Do they have an LSD? Or could it be a faulty CV joint? Help!
