Figured out the best kind of repair (FREE) for the glove box door falling open all the time. I have seen several posts on this, so here is what I did. Take the glove box out, then remove the part that the handle catches on. There are two nuts/bolts. CAREFULLY grind down the flange around the bolt holes to about 1/8 " thick. Be careful because the plastic grinds away fast. Then reattach it, close the door, and see if it falls open when you shake it. If it does, grind a little more. Mine stays shut with about 1/8" left. Best part of all, it's free if you have a grinder. Takes about 10 minutes with a grinder from start to finish. A file will probably work but take longer.
