having problems

I'm hearing a strange kind of creeking noise when I turn my sterring wheel, how do I make it go away?

creeking like mmmm tick tick tick? if yes u have a bad axle boot, and eventually the axle will snap, and u car wont be able to move.


minis are fwd right? lolz

This creaking usually comes from the strut bearings which can be seen under the bonnet...
Look for the little black cap on the shock tower and pull it up and off, you will find the end of the strut and a nut, just under these there are some bearings mounted in rubber which tend to creak on lower mileage cars, mine did for about 40K

Also if it's low on power steering fluid it can creek when turned
