Hi,

I've just joined and i am seriously stressed out!! i own a 2004 cooper s and have only had it for 2 months.

Found a puddle of oil under my car this morning, took it to a garage and the fella said that he need to strip the engine in order to find out where the leak is coming from but he expects its the oil cooler or the gasket!!!!

He also said mini engines are very problematic and not worth the hassle!!!

From what he said, i'm looking at an expensive of over 300 pounds!!!

Can anybody help or have any advice!!!!
Is this a common problem?
Is it a big job???
