Obd2 says engine running when trying to erase codes
I’m working on a 2013 Mini Cooper 1.6l nonturbo. When I try to erase codes on my obd2 reader it says I can’t because the engine is running. I tried two other obd2 code readers. So what tells the computer that the engine is running? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
