I have a 2010 Clubman S with 25k on her. Have been having starting issues the last week or so and took her in to the dealer. They say the battery is toast because it threw a fault code that the parking lights were left on for 1 hour and ten minutes. Because it would have been me that left them on they also say that it was user error and they will not cover the battery. ooes anybody know how many amp draw is on the battery with the usual 15 milliamp computer draw and the parking lights? A new battery from the dealer is like $400,

 

Have you looked into Optima batteries as a replacement or alternative to going to the dealer?
