Hi. Just about to buy a 2003 Cooper S and had two questions (that's all!) -

1) there seems to be a noticeable whine from the engine which the owner says is from the supercharger and is standard for the Cooper S. Is that so?

2) the rotors are close to worn out and I think I'll need to replace them - can anyone estimate what parts & labour would be to do so? The pads look reasonable, would I need to put new pads in as well?

there is a whine , more noticeable with an aftermarket intake ....
