I love European cars!!! I missed my Jaguar, so I bought one again and now friend of mine is giving me his 03 Mini Cooper with bad auto transmission. Used ones go for about $2k and his old one broke into small pieces, most likely non-repairable. It seems like the best choice would be converting to manual (about $500 for transmission), which is pretty complicated w/o instructions. Beside buying bunch of part (pedals, hydraulic cylinders etc.), I'll have to deal with computer/electrical problems.
