Dinan air intake

Is there a way to install the Dinan Air Intake for my MCS 2005 without cutting through the bay in the engine area? I just read a tread from another MCS owner doing that. Ugh!

Just get the JCW intake. It's the same thing and comes with the plastic piece with a hole in it already.
