Question 2009 Mini Cooper 6spd

I am new to German cars, and I just bought a Mini base model and I love it. I do want to enhance the torque, and I thought of installing a performance chip:
The GFORCE (I like there computer products) GF Performance chip for the Mini Cooper.
Ad states 30 Lb-FT torque and 4-7 MPG increase. On sale for $69.
Thanx in advance for any advise;

Dante'

Not saying it's not true, but marketing guys are prone to exaggeration.

Just sayin'.
