The motor in my daughter's 2008 Mini Cooper S just gave up the ghost. (Lost oil pressure, tensioner went limp, timing chain broke, pieces in the engine, etc.) Looking for some help/info on possible suppliers to purchase a replacement/used engine(BMW wants $9K for one lol) or should we look at a rebuild kit ? I am based in SW Ontario. Car has approx 100,000KM and is in great condition other than the engine.
