help...02 Mini = ??? BMW

I was looking at the recalls and TSBs, but they are only for the BMW. BMW owns the Mini, but under which BMW does our mini fall under?

The MINI isn't a BMW, it is its own company that happens to be owned by BMW. Just like Volvo and Ford for example.
