I'm going to the dealership this week to inquire about the Mini Cooper again. Can anyone suggest any questions I should ask with regards to the car being over 140,000 Miles? Receipts I should look for? Thoughts on the selling price? Also going to see if they will allow me to get the car inspected by another shop.

Seems pretty high on the mileage , I'd guess all highway long commutes

Ask for service history , you can get the mini dealer (if it was serviced there) to give you a printout with the VIN

See if you can get a Carfax to see if theres any damage/wrecks in it's history

 

Got Car Fax - clean.

THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY PAPER HISTORY OTHER THAN CARFAX. Only visual damage - small hole in driver seat. I'll take your advise and get the vin to a Mini dealer it may have been serviced at.
