Hey! My name is Cole and well, I'm looking to buy a Mini S! My current project car is a 91 mr2 turbo with many mods and, as you all guessed, its constantly breaking. As of yesterday I blew a coolant hose and a 28 year old knock sensor... So i am in the market for a daily to get me around town. I JUST sold my '00 Mercury Grand Marquis and have been really wanting a mini for some time now.
I am located in the Dallas area and have a budget of $5,000 for a mini S. I found a few and just started looking around! I test drove one today and while driving, literally everything went to ****. The battery light, CEL, passenger air bag light, ABS light, and a few more came on along with the power steering turning off.... What a failure haha, but before all that, i loved how small and sporty the car was. Oh yea there is one for sale and the owner says it sometimes has a hard time going into 3rd... Sounds like a wire problem to me. Is this common?
