Default Off to a Cold Start.

I purchased a 2007 Mini Cooper S yesterday. 50k miles and beautiful! Not a blemish. I was totally stoked and had a blast zipping around Los Angeles' Mountain Highways last night.

This morning, I woke and couldnt wait to get in my little beauty...Then the **** wouldnt start. She would start to start then progressively lose power and then sputter for a few then stall. This went on for about 5 minutes and then she acted totally normal again. The rest of the day she has been doing just fine.

Needless to say, I brought her directly to the dealership and they are looking at her.

Am I totally screwed here and Mini's are unreliable, or is this common and easily fixable?

Yes, I have the $$$'ey extended warranty to 100k miles.

You could just be having intermittent issue. I had an issue overheating with my engine before and then I took it to dealer where I bought it from since I bought my warranty from them and they didn't find anything. Before all that, I took my mini to the shop and have the fluid look at it and the mechanic just open the lid and since then the overheating of my mini has gone away. It could be just a bubble building up. So what I'm trying to say was maybe you had intermittent issue.
