Default R52 Performance parts recommendations

hello I'm looking for some recommendations for some bolt ons for my R52 JCW mini. I'm looking at an Alta or an m7 cold air intake. Is one better than the other? Also has anyone replaced their front and rear grills with the plastic inserts? M7 also offers grill insert that are metal but they are significantly more expensive. Just wondering if anyone has had good or bad experiences with either.

M7 makes terrific products. We sell their whole line up. I've seen many happy individuals utilizing both products you have mentioned. We even us their M7 catch can on our R56. What year is your R52?

The M7 "Exact Fit" CAI is a very good choice for your R52: 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible - Intake System - Page 2. There are a lot of details about it at that link if you're interested.
