My son has a 2013 Cooper S, N14 engine, best that I can figure. It was making the nasty valve rattle, an the cam gears were replaced. After assembly, he stated the car ran, but was rough. So he pulled and cleaned the plugs to see if that helped, since he had never replaced them. After that, the car started great, yet when it gets to idle, it just cuts out. Fuel and vacume are good, it won't even run on ether. So I'm pretty sure it in ignition. The car is throwing NO codes except if I pull a sensor plug. I have reset the ECM, and there is no difference, starts fine, no run, no codes. Hoping someone can point me in a direction that is helpful.
