Default straight pipe on a first gen

hello everyone im new here and i just recently bought a first gen mini cooper s in may and the exhaust is ready to be replaced. BUT of course im looking to make it a little louder and put a straight pipe on so do any of you have any comments about this? i have not a clue as how to go about this.

Welcome to MINI Cooper Forums. Congratulations on your purchase. You can make it pretty throaty without straight piping it. What year first gen R53 did you purchase?
