Stuck in 6th gear.

Default Stuck in 6th gear.
I have a 02' cooper s that is stuck in 6th gear.Please advise what may be the issue and parts needed to fix. Thank you

Hello,

When the cars is stopped does it come out? If not check the two cables up front on top of the transmission, one might have poped off
