Question Thinking about buying a Cooper Works Convertible

Aloha,
I've been looking for a new car and have fallen in love with the Cooper Works Convertible. I want to build mine online and pick it up when we move to Virginia.
Just wanted to get some opinions on the subject. Has anyone built a car online? How do you like owning a mini? Is there any specific problem I should be aware of and is there any particular feature that you like or dislike?
I plan on keeping this car for a long time and want to make sure that I am making a good purchase.
I would appreciate any information that anyone can give to me, good or bad.
Thank you!

I've built both mine online and fortunately, both times I went to the dealer they had almost the exact one I built there for purchase, the second was a different color but my wife liked it better then "matching". I bought the first one in 05 and just bought the wife a 10 clubman , and the 11 countryman is definately a test drive for me when it hits the dealer.
I'm near 60k trouble free miles on mine and 5k on the wifes ...
I love my heated seats and will never have a car without them ..
Maintenance is key on these , I don't like mini's 15k interval , I pay for the oil changes at 5k and don't reset the counter then mini gets every third one on the covered maintenance
