Upgrades to a 2013 Clubman S
Hey everybody!
I'm new to mini and this forum. I recently totaled my 2017 Volkswagen GLI (saddest day of my life) and bought my aunt's 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman S. I love everything about it and I am looking into modifications. She gave me an amazing deal so I have some cash to burn.
The audio needs a complete makeover. I am going to upgrade my door speakers which shouldn't be to difficult. But I need some advice on what sub(s) to add. Seeing as how cargo space isn't to abundant it would have to be a stealth enclosure design. I might go with under the seat powered subs, but would love something more powerful. My favorite brand is JL Audio, would love some W6 woofers, but can't find the right enclosure!
Also the stereo needs an upgrade. I am looking into a double din but I cannot find the right dash kit. Any ideas where to find this? Also considering Alpine's new Halo9 iLX-F309. It's a single din with a 9" screen.
As far as the engine goes I am open to suggestions. As well as the interior, the seats are pretty beat up I would definitely consider something new.
My priority is to first upgrade the audio and then move into the interior and then the engine.
Best,
Michael Namm
