G'day all, I'm somewhat new to the world of Minis. I've wanted a Mini since the reintroduction of the brand. Better late than never. I've been doing research and am in the process of weeding out a few for purchase. One that I came across is a '12 Cooper S with window sticker info. Under the Mechanical list, it states: 1.6 DOHC 16-valve turbocharged 14 engine. Does this mean it has the N14 engine? I was told the '12 model-year and up Mini switched to the more reliable N18. Could this be an early production '12 with a N14 mill? Hope you all don't mind a little brain picking from me as I make owning one of these R56/R55s a reality. Thanks!
