Hi got me a mini an it wasn't running right. Boyfriend has done compression check an has now taken it apart. Thinking it might be timing, or valves. Not sure but now that the cam is off. Checking compression again it lower then before. Can anyone tell us why? It was idling rough when we got it check engine lights on and low oil pressure light on too. Please help thanks

 

sounds like you have severe internal engine damage

worn piston rings most likely

 

He figured it out. Replacing motor cuz it's toast. Previous owners trashed the car. Never changed the oil nor any reg maintance. Thank u tho
