It's not rear wheel drive. In fact, it was the first car to ever have front wheel drive.

Yeah, drifting is definetly possible in a FWD car, but it's a whole lot easier in a RWD car. As for autocross (which I do a whole lot of), the Mini is an awesome competitor because of its wide wheel base, awesome suspension, and powerful motor, all stock. This means you can kick some major *** in the stock class.

I use the stock tires on the Mini (Dunlop Runflats). It doesn't usually matter what type of tire you have depending on the weather conditions, but you really need to make sure you have your tires pumped way up to prevent your tires from rolling over.

Yeah, for drag racing you drop the pressure so you grip real well, but if you did that for autox, you'd be driving on the rims around corners.

hell yea, 16psi for autox wouldnt be good...id roll those tires in a sec n have no lips left......we use a hoosier autoX tire and run anywhere from 34-40 dependin on the coarse and temps for the day. Bad thing is, the mini we chose to do the autoX doesnt have a LSD being its a 04 model....all i do is burn em up out of every corner with the one legger........car does run good with the stock susp and i in the SM class which hosted mostly E46 M3's so i came in 9th out of 16.

Yeah, I wish I had waited just a little longer to get my Mini because right after I got mine, they came out with the LSD for it.

makes a BIIIIG difference....specially when u autox em. We just finished a MC40 with full Dinan upgrades today and i went for a run with it at lunch and its a MONSTER MINI now! Dinan has made an already impressive susp with there upgrades using there custom made lowering spring, Koni adjustable struts/shocks, rear adjustable sway bar and frt fully adjustable camber plates. You cant ask for anything else out of this mini except future add-ons which will make these cars extremly in demand and have a wide aray of tuning parts in the import world. watch out for next years SEMA shows to prove my point...."god i hope im right"!

June 25-26th

Atlantic City Convention Center

Funk Master Flex Car Show

Sux ill be at a local car show on the water so i wont be able to make it this year.
