I'm trying to clear codes on my 2012 Mini Cooper with an OBD2 reader. When I try the clear code feature, it says "failure" and that I need the key to be in position 2. As far as I can tell, there are only two key positions, one with the key pushed in (so radio, etc, is on) and one with the ignition fully on. I tried both of these key positions and still got that same error message. What am I missing here?
