Mini Cooper D 2010 coolant hose hanging down behind air deflector
Hello there , just joined and hope this is an easy question to answer please. I drove to the shops and on return to the car noticed that a plastic pipe seems to be hanging low to the ground behind front air deflector section of the bumper. I could easily push this up and down with my hand but am wondering how to re attach it please. It’s hard to see behind the bumper and I cannot feel anything to attach it to.
it’s for sure the coolant pipe that runs horizontal and then goes vertical on the right side of the engine.
any images would be appreciated as to where it clips on seems a strange design choice to be honest as it could of easily been ripped off by a speed bump.
i have temporarily attached it with an adjustable metal hose clip to the sleeved pipe directly behind it. Not ideal I know but it’s moved it out of the way for now
this pipe is directly behind the air dam and I think should be attached somewhere below the radiator fan somewhere thanks.
