Default New filter kit

Hi,
looking to fit an after market air intake filter kit,
Is it worth fitting
Is it easy to fit
Does it affect the sensors
any recommendations or part numbers I should be looking for.
Sorry folks I am in New Zealand parts are expensive to ship in.
any advice good or bad much appreciated,better to ask than buy and repent at leisure.

Basis my experience with a standard K&N in my R56 I wouldn’t recommend this. It lets in lots of particulate matter and muck. Better to stay with the OEM or OES.
In the other thread I have described all the things that happened to my Cooper. Please check it and then decide.
