Default Climate Control System Does Not Come On

I've searched using about a dozen different search combinations and cannot find anything related to my issue; if there is something previously posted, I apologize for not finding it.

My daughter's 2003 Mini with 85,000 miles is new to us in March of this year; at the time everything worked perfectly. Recently, she told me that nothing related to heat, cooling, fan, etc. was working; the system is acting like it is dead. I checked both fuse blocks and then had a mechanic friend do the same thing but neither of us could find a blown fuse. He even swapped the relays around to no avail.

I don't even know how to search for a fix.....there's no fan, no temp control ****, nothing works. Anyone with suggestions?

UPDATE: Corroded wires at the firewall was the issue. Spliced about a dozen with new sections and all is good again.

EXCELLENT !!!

Thanks for updating !!!

Very happy you got the " mini" running great again !!!!!

I would spray some fluid film on the wires so not to happen again...

Good Luck!!!!

Hi to all, I need help with a problem with my 2003 mini Cooper, my climate control does not work my dash lights do not work turn signal works but the lights on the dash do not the only way I can get my sunroof to work is to disconnect the battery reconnect and it works for about 10 minutes and then it does not work after that until I do the same thing again with the battery, has anyone had any of these issues thanks for your help.
