Default CVT problem - weird! HELP!

I changed the fluid and filter in my 06 non supercharged Mini and everything worked fine but there was a drip at the drain plug. I ignored it until one day after putting it in gear and accelerating, it suddenly went into top "gear" and stayed their. Tranny wouldn't let it get above 1500 rpm until I was up to 45 mph. I drained the tranny, refilled it, and got the same results (it was quart low). The I did the ECU reset using ignition key and odometer button and it worked perfectly until I cam to a stop. I repeated the process three times and got the same results each time. Tranny works perfectly when I do an ECU reset until I come to a stop. I certainly can't do a ECU reset each time I come to a stop. HELP!

Were you able to fix it or did it finally fix itself?
