Smile Replacing parking lamp and fog lamp

Hi There,

I'm looking for a little help.

First, the "Bentley Publishers, 2002-2006 Mini Cooper Service Manual" doesn't explain how to change the parking lamp that is enclosed with the turn signal housing/lens.

Second, on page 630-10 the manual describes how to remove and install the foglight assembly by first is to removing the front wheel and then removing the front fender lining. I removed the wheel but can't figure out if I need a special tool to remove the fender liner. Please enlighten me.

Thanks in advance for your time and energy,

Brand New Mini Mechanic (I'm very mechanically minded and I'm great taking things apart, it's the putting them back together that seems to be the issue.)

Default Parking and Fog lamp R&R

Sorry, they are the front right lamps (fog and parking).

Turn it counterclockwise (same way as the turn signal) while pushing it in a bit - sometimes these get pretty stuck. I know folks who have had to use pliers to wiggle it a bit to break it loose - then turn to remove.
Sometimes a shot of WD40 helps as well
