I'm looking to buy a 2003 mini cooper s with 116,000 miles . I checked the car fax and it is clean) no accidents or no engine problems). When I arrived at the delaer he said it was a fix up car , saying there was problems with the engine that they can't identify. I took it for a teat drive and it drove really good , just a slight rattle noise barely noticeable. The only thing they said was that it had an overheating problem. I checked on the year of this car and people have said that for this year their transmission gives out. I dont want to buy the car for the cars transmission to fail. Any idea what could be wrong with this car? Is it worth purchasing ? I absolutly love the car I hope yous can help !
