03 Cooper S No Start - 3 Random Codes
Hi there,
Long time lurker, first time poster and relatively new Mini owner. Have an '03 Cooper S with around 132k miles.
Question is, I bought the car, did the supercharger service and water-pump, then one day, I drove it around, parked, got back in it 40-ish minutes later and it would not start. Called for a tow, truck gets there, we go to push the car out, try cranking one more time and it sputters into life. Ended up having it towed to a shop anyways to see what happened.
Shop stated it threw the following three codes:
The shop unplugged the engine control module, plugged it back in and cleared the codes. Said if it happens again it needs a new ECM. Been driving the car around occasionally since this happened and it's not had another starting issue.
My question is - has anyone experienced anything similar? And if so, what's the resolution? I would love to have the car to where I have no starting issues since I tend to drive in pretty rural places.
Thanks in advance
