Hello all. I'm having trouble finding info on starter issues. My car is a 2008 Mini cooper S convertible, manual transmission. It's got about 130,000 miles so I wasn't shocked when the starter locked up. We replaced it, and a month later the new starter locked up. We assumed it was a bad rebuild, so we replaced it. Now, almost 2 months later, this one is locked up. Any advice on what to look for? It seems something must be causing this to burn up. I would think the ignition switch is ok, but haven't got a good way to test it. I'm at a loss. I appreciate any help anyone can offer!
