Recently I was in a 'T-bone' type of accident in my 2004 cooper where someone ran a red light (from my right) and I stuck the vehicle as it was going in front of me. I was going approx 25-30 mph. My airbags didn't deploy and I sustained injuries. At what speed and what type of collision are they supposed to deploy? Thank you in advance for your help.

 

I hit a deer at 70 mph and did $3500 in damage and mine didn't go off either with that type of impact I'd have thought they'd have went as well

 

I was in a collision in which my Mini was totaled--I struck the car in front of me, and yet my airbag didn't deploy. My chest hit the steering wheel and I had rib pain for weeks and horrible bruising. I was really surprised that the airbags didn't deploy, as the damage penetrated right down to my car's engine.
