Hi all - 2012 Mini Cooper HT Base model., 125K miles.

Within a matter of days I've notice three seemingly unrelated issues pop up, but I can't help believe they might be ties together

First thing I noticed is that the dash backlighting doesn't seem to go on automatically anymore. I ahve three settings on the turn signal stalk (Bottom, Middle and Top). I usually run the bottom setting and I' swear up until recently when it starting getting dark the dash lights would come on. Now they don't. Plus, when i move the light switch to the middle position now I get dash light, but they don't go off automatically when I shut the car off and instead it beeps at me until I fllip back to the bottom position. I don't remember that being the case.

Issue two - when I push the stalk forward for brights, nothing happens, nothing at all. But if I pull the stalk I can flash the brights and if I hold it pulled in the brights stay on.

Issue three - the cig. lighter outlet has quit. The fuse is fine. both front and rear outlets are no longer working.

Are these related? any thoughts on where to start with this?

Other that those things the car is great!
