Hello everyone.

I buy a Mini Cooper S convertible 2007 manual and the engine is not turning so my question is... shout I start by removing only the top of the engine and see if the timing chain got loose and what is the damage on the engine or remove the oil pan and see what debris are inside?????

Im new on to this cars so i would like to see what you guys think!
