I'm in the market for a Cooper S convertible and I have a few questions. I'm excited about finding this forum.

I've been driving Lotus Elises for 5 years and it has been a lot of fun. I now need a car that is fun and practical, so the Cooper S is it. I have questions.

1. Should I hold out for the sport suspension? It's a $500 option on a new car and it seems to be rare.

2. Are there any options that surprised you how much you enjoyed it/them?

3. Any other advice? year models to avoid, options to avoid, gotchas?
