Hello, I've been looking into getting into a MINI for about a month now. My Big Block Chevy C-10 is a little expensive to drive everyday. I'd like to get a Mini and fix it up alittle. Better suspension and brakes mostly, with some exterior add ons. Is the John Cooper Works edition worth it? The biggest advantage I can see is more Hp and stronger transmission. I'm not too interested in the sport suspension since it would mostly be replaced anyway. Is it worth it to get the JCW or start with a Cooper S and save alittle money?

If you can afford the JCW go for it, otherwise Cooper S is also a great to drive. I have cooper S and very happy with it. You can settle for Cooper S and save the rest of your money for future maintenance as well, that's another option.
