Buying a new 2013 Hardtop. Metallic orange with a black top and bonnet stripes. My first car purchase (new or used) ever at age 27, and I couldn't be more excited. I almost bought a Mini about 5 years ago, but ultimately I was living and working in Philadelphia and realized I didn't need a car at that point. After getting through law school on awful cars borrowed from my parents (a 2001 Ford Windstar and a then 2002 Honda CRV), I finally decided to pull the trigger. Test drove other compact cars as gas mileage is a huge concern based on my commute (60 miles each way), but I don't even know why I bothered. I've always wanted a Mini, and now here I am. Here's a pic of it sitting on the showroom floor.
