Default Advice Needed for Aspiring Diesel Mechanics

Hi everyone,

I’ve always been interested in heavy machinery and engine repair. My goal is to pursue a career as Diesel Mechanics, but I’m unsure which training path or certifications offer the best opportunities. What does a typical workday look like for someone in this profession?

Are there common challenges or mistakes that beginners should be aware of? Any tips on improving technical skills or career progression would be really helpful.

I’d love to hear from those already working in the field about their journey and how they successfully built their expertise.
