I'm with Patrick... Nav is a waste. Who needs a $1700 unit when a $17 map works just as good?

Save up and get exactly what you want though man. Go to LOTS of dealers and see what they have, they hate to have them sitting there and will usually cut you a good deal to get rid of ones on the lot.

Well, it may be because I just starting driving. I don't know where to go, so maybe a Navigation System would help...I don't know.
it's an expensive option that is likely to make your insurance even higher.

Look on ebay. You might be able to find exactly what you want for a much lower price than you will find in auto trader or local papers. Plus, buying on ebay is much safer because you can check up on the sellers past selling history. And, if you are able to pay through paypal you can dispute the purchase if there is something wrong with the car that the seller did not disclose. Once you give some guy a check or cash and you drive off with the car, that's the end. You'll never see the seller again and you could get stuck with a car that has mechanical problems that you may not know about the first time you test drive it.
