YesterdayI filled up the MINI, actually I overfilled it because I prepaid and wound up squeezing in about a gallon over, now my gauge isat below empty. Anyone think it's because I overfilled it? Will it go back to normal after it burns off some excess fuel? I hope I don't have to have it serviced, my dealer is 3 hours away!

The float on the fuel pump goes all the way up when filled. I would check with the fuel level sensor first. After you drive it a little and fill it up again it should be fine. If not you level sensor might have messed up.
