Radiator Fans not coming on
Hi Folks,
I have a 2003 MCS and having some trouble sourcing problem with my radiator fan not coming on. Both low speed and high speed not engaging. Car overheated twice and initially thought it was thermostat so replaced. No overheating since but noticed fan not coming on. Changed resistor on fan and still no joy. Checked all fuses and relays and wired fan direct and fan is working. Baffled!!! Tried AC on and still no low speed fan. Thought it might be engine coolant temp sensor on cylinder head but no loss of power in car and gauge in cabin is sitting on halfway as normal. Left car running for 30 mins no overheating but no fans. Can anyone shed some light on this please. Cheers

I have a Mini Cooper countryman R60 2016.
When I turn the engine on the high speed fan comes on straight away and stays on for 6 mins after turning the engine off. It’s had temperature sensors replaced and thermostat housing all replaced. It’s been to the garage several times, codes cleared and it stays off for about a week and then comes back on. An air con specialist has looked at it and that’s all fine. The codes cleared off were e717 and 9C90.
Have spent loads and love my mini. Can anyone help please? Thanks
