Hello all.....I'm looking for a 2007 and up preowned S model and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a great place to pick one up. I can go anywhere into the areas of NY, NJ, CT & PA.
Thx in advance,

Check online classifieds in your area like craigslist or even eBay, try CarMax too.

I'm currently in the market for a Mini Cooper and have come across some in the area but aren't too sure if they are a good deal or not. Currently, I'm looking at a 2006 Cooper Base with 59K and an asking price of $10,900, which I have managed to get down to $10,400. The other is a Cooper S with 66K and an asking price of $11,500, which I was able to get down a measly $50 to $11,450 and keep in mind it has been sitting on the lot for 41 days as of today, where the Base has only been there 6 days.

Overall, do y'all see that these two vehicles are a decent buy? I'm weary of the reliability, but after looking at numerous reviews, feel as though the 2006 model year should be fairly reliable. Please advise.

Default Go w/ the 'S'.

DCCyclist, they sound like a descent buy but I would not get anything less than a Cooper S. It might be just me, but if your'e doing a 6 sp tranny, I'd go with the S.
By the way, do you cycle? I have a 2012 Scott CR1 Pro myself.
Good luck with your purchase.
Manny
