My name is Johno, New to the Forum and first time Mini Cooper owner.

I have a 2015 R55 Mini Cooper 5door hatch 1.5 petrol and it has covered 118K miles.
I have had to replace a few parts like Battery, crank pully, aux belt rollers and tensioner. also had an oil leak at the back of the engine cover behind the crank pulley and repaired that at the same time. plus front disc and pads.

its a good motor but am have an issue it has developed a strange fault, when driving on motorway/dual carriage way at 60-70 mph and holding at a steady speed on the throttle feels like the engine holds back or braking intermittently for a couple of seconds then drives fine for a bit then does it again. it hasn't auto braking and is a manual box. I did plug it in and came up with a Purge valve fault that I have replaced and cleared the codes but still have the fault and no stored codes. and its starting to do my head in.
has anyone else had an issue like this or point me in the direction on the forum to check please?
